Cooperatives
Beginning in May of 2009 I've been working on a loose series of posts that explore various aspects of "political economies," open source business models, the impact of corporate structures on cultural and economic development, the potential of cooperative enterprise, and other issues related to these core concerns.
The series is obviously in response to impending/ongoing collapse of the American/global economy that started in the fall of 2008 and ambles on through the present, but it's also about trying to connect ideas about "openness," software freedom, and the organizations that support and encourage collaboration.
